Visual Narrative Ranking #1

I was relaly impressed by this video. They clearly put in a lot of work into taking a multitude of pictures. It looked like the action figures were actually moving despite the film being composed merely of photos.

Visual Narrative Ranking #2

I think the music really added to the strength of this video. The facial expressions of the characters in the story were also very illustrative, they were able to achieve a great story without movement.

Visual Narrative Ranking #3

I liked this video because the story was very easy to follow, the pictures all followed each other in a very logical manner. The special effects of the blood and the sound of the gun was creative as well. Finally, the storyline was interesting, particularly the ending.

Bones Journal #1

So I’m supposed to be writing this journal for a class–I’m not even sure what the name of the class is.  I have been way too stressed out lately.  Yesterday, I made a list of everything that stresses me out, and basically all it was composed of was classes and the LSAT.  All I want to do is go back to Vietnam and not have to worry about real life.  It has been really difficult to adjust ever since we returned from Vietnam, but luckily others people in the group feel the same way.  Life in North Carolina just seems so anticlimatic after spending a month visiting incredible beaches, rebuilding part of a school, traveling to UNESCO World Heritage Sites, not to mention riding elephants…It is really hard to get excited about taking classes when you compare it to being a world traveler.  Furthermore, I don’t even know if I want to go to law school anymore.  I mean, I want to go to law school, but I really don’t want to study for the LSAT’s.  Everyone else who is taking them has spent hours upon hours studying, and I’ve only taken one measly practice test.  I know I should be more upset about this, but I just can’t get myself motivated to take a full day standardized test.
